Audio Masterclass Advanced Music Production and Sound Engineering Course

This course follows on from the Audio Masterclass Music Production and Sound Engineering Course giving the student further knowledge, skills and experience. It is not essential to have completed this course but students must have an equivalent level of knowledge, skills and experience.

The course adds twelve further practical assignment projects covering topics from drum programming through precision editing, audio for video, further experience in mixing and mastering, all the way through to the production of your original multitrack recording and mix.

The course further consolidates sound engineering skills through working with orchestral music, cinema trailer production, sound effects, and radio production.

Advanced course

It is important to stress that this is an advanced course. It is not suitable for beginners, nor anyone whose interest in audio is only slight, nor anyone who does not want their 'comfort zone' to be significantly challenged.

This is a wide ranging, in-depth course covering a wide range of techniques and due consideration should be given to the significant commitment enrollment presents.

Assignment content

The course contains the following practical assignment projects (as all of our courses are subject to continuous improvement we reserve the right to change, substitute or modify assignments):

  • Drum programming

  • As one of the assignments involves recording a guitar, acoustic or electric, access to an instrument and performer, who need only be of amateur standard, is required.

IMPORTANT

This course is staged, meaning that each module must be completed before access to the next is available. Modules can be taken at one per week, or at any pace slower than that within the two-year enrollment period.

Please read the above paragraph carefully. We cannot allow any exceptions.
